A young interpreter travels from afar seeking knowledge from a renowned scholar, only to learn that the man has already passed away. Instead, he takes the scholar’s disciple as his new teacher and begins his studies under their guidance. As the lessons continue, however, the way he looks at his instructor slowly changes. Respect and curiosity begin to blur into something far more intimate and dangerous.
